Wagz car never had a motor problem and it is still running fine on the motor we built him over 2 years ago. We have learned a tremendous amount about motor building in 2 years. We are light years ahead of where we were then, and yet his old motor is still fine. We did an enormous amount of work on his car and all the fuss was mostly over the welding job on a downpipe, it was unsightly but it worked fine. One of my technicains took it to the only exhaust shop he could find open on a Weekend and becuase it had to be done in a rush. We learned a lesson, we have our own welder now. As far as your comment about using customers car as a learning experience. Well you are right I guess, I think every shop should use every car they work on as a learning experience, continually finding better ways to do the job. Always trying to come up with new ideas to promote reliability and performance. Have we had problems due to our workmanship, sure, every shop has. Did we fix the mistakes, yes. Have you ever had work done with us? No and neither has anyone that is posting the negativity. I keep hearing all this about all the problems we have from people who have never actually done business with us. Then I hear do a search and find out about Z1. Well go ahead and do one now if you like. You will find many, many more postive experiences than negative, the negative posts are almost all from the same group that has never actually domne business with us (its circular). Combine that with the fact that people are much more likely to post about a negative experience tha a good one, as well as the amount of work we turn out and you will get my point. Our satisfaction rate is excellent. If someone would like to stand out side our gate and conduct exit polls that will be fine with us.
